How to win people all over Germany for engaging in nature and species conservation? With a campaign that lets nature speak for itself – literally.
The main protagonist of our films is the European hamster, one of Germany's most endangered species. Voiced by renowned German actors Iris Berben, Axel Milberg, and Matthias Brandt, the hamster shares its thoughts on climate change, species extinction, or the energy transition.
A nationwide campaign running on over 1000 cinema screens, leading to 3.039.709 impressions in cinemas alone.
“We don't want to end up like the dinosaurs – in the natural history museum. That's why we need to act now. With the campaign, we're mobilizing thousands of young people to actively engage in nature and species conservation.”
Managing Director GoNature
With over 2 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, Siegfried & Joy are a true social media sensation.
They supported the GoNature campaign with exclusive content, showcasing their distinct combination of magic and humor.
Formats developed for digital CLPs boost the campaign at out-of-home locations. They show the hamster in short stand-alone scenes combined with customized call to actions.
The messages are short, clear, and creatively convey what GoNature is about: getting involved in nature conservation instead of just talking about it.
The campaign is the result of an ongoing collaboration with director Sven Schrader and ADC member Lilli Langenheim.
In a previous film, actress Jella Haase and musician Mieze spoke the voice of nature as a duet. An activation with resounding success: Thanks to the campaign, GoNature received a multitude more applications for volunteer positions than there were available spots.
